An afternoon walk up to Walla Crag from Great Wood as I still had some time and energy spare after walking around Ennerdale Water earlier!

The first view through the trees to Catbells and Skelgill Bank.

And again from the top of Cat Gill.

Bleaberry Fell in the shade.

Beautiful Borrowdale.

The Vale of Keswick and Skiddaw.

Warm sunshine on Walla Crag.

Great Dodd and the Helvellyn Range to the east. Sean from StridingEdge.net was walking over that way earlier today.

And lastly Derwent Water just before entering Great Wood to get back to the car.
