Swyre Head

Distance: 3.4km (2.11 Miles)
Ascent: 65m (213ft)
Time: 1 Hour

Having just arrived in Dorset and enjoyed a day resting at the beach due to the insanely high temperatures (No joke! The Met Office has issued its first ever Amber Warning for Hot Weather) we took an evening stroll up to the amazing viewpoint of Swyre Head. The views extend to Portland to the west and the Isle of Wight to the east and its almost effortless to get up there!

On the way down we passed a field of Sheep which provided the perfect foreground to the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle and Poole Harbour in the background.
