I had planned a little trip to Strumpshaw Fen for today as I had not been there in quite a while and it turned out to be one of the best trips I've ever had there with sightings of Otters, lots of Dragonflies, Kingfishers and Marsh Harriers.

Beautiful sunshine this afternoon at Strumpshaw.

Plenty of wildlife to see today...

Like this Peacock Butterfly...

And this little Sedge Warbler.

This one gives me the creeps a little bit!

A Jay in the trees.

I’m terrible at Dragonfly ID so not sure what this one is.

Open water at Strumpshaw Fen.

And a beautiful Kingfisher.
