Upon arrival for just a short trip to the Lakes we headed out to see Taylorgill Force Waterfall.

Late afternoon sunshine on Thornythwaite Fell.

Following the path towards Sourmilk Gill where we turn left.

Crossing the beck.

The path follows the river for a few hundred metres before heading up the fellside.

Wonderful views towards Stockley Bridge.

Grains Gill on the left side of Seathwaite Fell.

A view back to Borrowdale and in the distance, Blencathra.

More beautiful scenery as we head back to Seathwaite.
