Skelwith Force & Loughrigg Tarn

Distance: 2.25km (1.4 Miles)
Time: 1 Hour

Having just arrived in the Lakes, what better walk to do than down to Skelwith Force and Loughrigg Tarn for a bit of relaxation.

Tarn Foot Campsite, with Ivy Crag towering above. I always remember looking up to this ridge with binoculars and seeing walkers along the top thinking it was really high. I suppose it is when you're a child!

Skelwith Force. Not much water today, it can be really crazy after heavy rain!

There are so many memories for me here, this is where I used to come on holiday when I was a child.
