Rodbridge to Sudbury

This lovely 7.5 mile walk, taken from the Ordnance Survey's Outstanding Circular Walks Book begins at Long Melford Country Park and follows parts of the old railway line and footpaths into the centre of Sudbury. The return back to Long Melford explores the vast open water meadows that sit along the River Stour before re-joining the old railway line.

We took a detour off the path to see some of the other historical treat in Sudbury and found this window arch that likely came from one of the Priory’s.
