Padley Gorge

Today was set as the day we drive home but not without a little walk, this time around Padley Gorge which is a place neither me nor Nick had ever been.

A small pond in the National Trust Langshaw Estate where we started the walk.

A rather lovely footbridge over the river.

The woodland along Padley Gorge is simply stunning. Filled with twisted gnarled trees and certainly worth exploring!
