Sunshine over Stonethwaite Beck at the beginning of the walk. Promising skies to the north over Maiden Moor. Now looks what's coming our way! Its been lovely all afternoon and we timed our walk now... Never mind! Lonscale Fell. Skiddaw. Watendlath Tarn and village. The northern summit of Great Crag with Skiddaw and Watendlath Tarn behind. And the southern top looking to Ullscarf. Dock Tarn just visible from here. Dock Tarn. Is it going to clear up a bit just as we make our descent? A view down Langstrath. Sunshine on Eagle Crag with Sergeants Crag behind. Eagle and Sergeants Crag. The path to Greenup Edge to the left and the start of Langstrath to the right. More sunshine on Eagle Crag as we make our way back to Rosthwaite. Lake DistrictRosthwaiteGreat CragDock TarnBorrowdale Joe Jackson
