The Cnicht (pronounced K’nik’t) is sometimes referred to as the Matterhorn of Snowdonia, not for its height but for its impressive conical shape. At less than 700m above sea level the peak is far from the highest but still sees many ascents thanks to its impressive and enjoyable southern ridge.
