This superb walk takes in two grand Edges of the Peak District, beginning with Bamford Edge and its spectacular views to Ladybower Reservoir. After crossing the moor I headed up Stanage Edge and followed part of this to High Neb.

All is sunny in the Peak District and this view is only a few minutes into the walk.

Gargoyle Flake, a famous climb on Bamford Edge that has to be one of the most photogenic. A few days after this walk I returned here and climbed it (see photo below).
