Bamburgh Castle

Distance: 3.03km
Ascent: 25m
Duration: 1 Hour 20 Minutes

After spending the morning at the amazing Holy Island of Lindisfarne we had to leave before the high tide arrived and decided to head over to the coastal fortress of Bamburgh Castle. This was another place I have wanted to visit for many years and the weather made it very atmospheric along the beach.

The beach down at Bamburgh with a view up to the castle. The sand was dry and the wind blowing creating streaks of sand across the beach.
