Jack's Rake on Pavey Ark is one of the best Grade 1 scrambles in Lakeland. It offers an increasing level of difficulty with prolonged exposure thanks to a massive drop on one side down to Stickle Tarn. It is not a scramble to do without past experience though. To get to Jack's Rake, follow the popular path up to Stickle Tarn, then head round to the opposite side and up the scree to the base of Jacks Rake.
