Three Tarns

Three Tarns are located in a col between Crinkle Crags and Bowfell. After rain, there can be as many as four tarns, and after a dry spell, there may only be two. They are frequently missed by walkers who are heading up to Bowfell, over to Eskdale or going up Crinkle Crags simply because they are so small.
