Styhead Tarn is located between Great Gable and Seathwaite Fell. It offers great views to the high peaks of the Lake District and also down through Borrowdale to Skiddaw. The path alongside is a popular route for people climbing to Great Gable, Great End or Scafell Pike. The route is also used by people walking from Wasdale to Borrowdale.
