As some may be aware I have decided to complete my Lowland Leader Award and plan to progress up to Hill & Moorland and eventually Mountain Leader. Today was the second day of a 2 day training course for my Lowland Leader and involved navigation of some of the 10.5 mile long route around the River Stort near Harlow and some lovely countryside.

We followed the River Stort for several miles to the west.

It was near here we left the river and entered open countryside.
