Malham Cove

Distance: 8.97km
Ascent: 177m
Duration: 4 Hours 55 Minutes

A superb walk from Malham, taking in Janet’s Foss Waterfall, the breathtaking ravine of Gordale Scar and the ever popular Malham Cove.

Crossing the footbridge in Malham in the direction of Janet's Foss.

Now entering the woodland by Janet's Foss.

Janet's Foss.

Walking in towards Gordale Scar - one of my favourite places to go in the Dales.

Just wow!

A 'footpath' goes up the falls which requires some easy scrambling. Not today but lovely to visit here anyway!

Passing a dry valley as we head past ancient settlements to Malham Cove.

Pendle Hill.

An ancient hut circle. Probably Bronze Age.

Arriving at Malham Cove.

Love this place - just always busy!

From the other side.

Malham Cove limestone pavement.

Looking along the Pennine Way.

It was all a bit flooded so I couldn't get any closer today.

Absolutely stunning.
