Little Bradley

Distance: 4.96km
Ascent: 40m
Duration: 1 Hour 41 Minutes

Today was just a short walk around the village of Little Bradley to explore part of the Stour Valley Path and the Saxon Church.

Thurlow Church at the start of the walk.

A memorial inside the church.

A lovely old brick house in Great Thurlow.

A lovely day today with in the countryside.

Lovely open countryside.

The round tower church of Little Bradley.

Saxon Long and Short Work on the corner of the Nave.

Little Bradley Church.

Blocked old window and replaced with a ‘newer’ one which is still hundreds of years old. The orinignal is probably Norman.

And a similar change on the end of the Chancel with a blocked older window replaced by a newer one.
