High Seat

Distance: 8.19km - 5.09 Miles
Ascent: 584m (1916ft)
Duration: 3 Hours 15 Minutes

This walk has been planned for a while now, and thanks to the recent lack of rainfall, today was the best possible time to do it (unless its all frozen). Even after days and days of no rain, the top was still a bit soggy between High Seat and Bleaberry Fell.

Ashness Bridge and Skiddaw from the start of the climb up to High Seat. Its only a bit hazy at the moment but it soon got much worse over the next hour or so.

The largest of the unnamed tarns along the path to Bleaberry Fell. This was possibly the wettest section of the walk.

This view must be spectacular on a clear sunny day. One to do on a good day!
