Foxearth Meadows

Distance: 4.32km (2.68 Miles)
Ascent: 47m (154ft)
Duration: 1 Hour 30 Minutes

Today was the first day in several weeks it hasn’t rained so we took the opportunity to head down to Foxearth Meadows Nature Reserve to see some of the local wildlife.

The River Stour looking rather high at the moment due to all of the recent rain.

The water was about 1ft higher than normal at the moment. Here the sound of running water was lovely. The entrance to the reserve was just behind me where we saw a lovely little Nuthatch on the feeder.

We popped a few peanuts on the feeder to see what came down and this Nuthatch came back dozens of times.

He’s off to stash the nuts somewhere.
