Blackpool Tower as clear as the fells in front of us. Can you see the hill way beyond to the right? We could just make out the mountains in Wales way over to the right just above Coniston Water on the horizon.

I managed to quickly get this photo of the summit of Fairfield between the hordes of people heading to and from the summit. Literally 2 minutes earlier there was probably 20 people on the summit.
