Upper Eskdale is one of the most remote places you can hike in the Lake District, sometimes being many miles from the nearest road or building. This photo was taken on the descent from Hard Knott into Upper Eskdale and shoes the full Scafell Massif in a single panorama complete with some dramatic skies.
