My walk up to Birkhouse Moor then along the legendary Striding Edge to the summit of Helvellyn with some beautiful time lapse photography too. The walk down was along Swirral Edge to Catstye Cam and then back to Glenridding. The views from the summit are outstanding. The crossing of Striding Edge should be done in dry, clear and calm conditions as it can be dangerous for the inexperienced.
