The Langdale Pikes tower over the Great Langdale valley. This route starts at New Dungeon Ghyll and ascends up to Pavey Ark via Stickle Tarn and continues to Thunacar Knott, Harrison Stickle, Pike of Stickle and Loft Crag before descending down along Dungeon Ghyll.
