Long Distance Guided Walks: Stour Valley Path | Part 3 - Meadows and Marshes

Part 3 - Meadows and Marshes

Day 3 of my long distance walk along the Stour Valley Path. Today I am starting at Long Melford and heading south through Sudbury Water Meadows nature reserve, along gentle undulating hills to Bures before turning east and finishing at Nayland.

The Stour Valley Path is a 62 mile long distance route through the Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Essex Countryside. Starting off at Newmarket the route passes through rural countryside, visiting the towns and villages of Clare, Long Melford, Sudbury, Bures and Stoke By Nayland before finishing by the coast at Cattawade Marshes.
