The St Edmund Way is an 80 mile long distance trail starting at Manningtree in Essex, following part of the Stour Valley to Sudbury, continuing onto Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds, Thetford and finishing in the town of Brandon. Parts of Essex and Norfolk are explored as well as a large section of Suffolk. The route has lots of historical interests including the burial site of King Edmund.
